Correctional OfficersYour correctional officers are responsible for preserving order inside the detention center by enforcing the facility's rules and regulations. The correctional staff walks and inspects the cellblock and it's inmates at least two times an hour to not only ensure inmate health and safety, but also and prevent escapes. All of your eleven full time Correctional Officers have completed a five week, two hundred hour course and graduated from an accredited corrections academy. Corrections Officers are taught about institutional policies, regulations, operations, use of force, firearms, and custody/security procedures. |
