Mason County Sheriff's Office:  Inmate Expenses
The Mason County Sheriff's Office is pleased to announce our association with Goverment Payment Service Inc (GPS) in making it possible for payments of bond, commissary, housing fees, medical expenses, and sex offender registration by credit card. 

GPS can be contacted by phone at 888-604-7888, or you may make payments on-line by clicking on the GPS icon at the bottom of this page. You will need the following information to make a payment:

Bond:     Defendant's name, date of birth, booking number, and bond amount.  Bond payments must be done in person at the sheriff's office.  The card holder must be present and have a valid photo ID.  The Pay Location Code for a bond payment is 5522.

Commissary:  Defendant's name, date of birth, and amount you want to apply to their account. The Pay Location Code for a commissary payment is 5472.

Housing Fees:  Defendant's name, date of birth, court case number, and amount you want to apply to their fee.  The Pay Location Code for a housing fee is 5471.

Medical Expenses:  Defendant's name, date of birth and amount you want to apply to their medical expenses.  The Pay Location Code for a medical expense payment is 5473.

Sex Offender Registration:  Registrant's name and date of birth.  The Pay Location Code for a Sex Offender Registration payment is 5474.

A non-refundable GPS service fee will be added to all transactions.  The service fees, which are applied to bond amounts, are available at the sheriff's office upon request.
